At GBS we love to celebrate the amazing work of our students, whose lives have been changed during their studies 鈥� proving that their journey doesn鈥檛 stop after graduation day.

Watching our shining graduates thrive is one of the most rewarding parts of the 糖心Vlog journey. Their success stories offer inspiration to current and future students alike.

One perfect example of this is Faizan Ahmed, a former Business Management student based in Birmingham who is using the skills and knowledge gained on his course to inspire new students at GBS.

Following the completion of his degree, Faizan went on to study for a master鈥檚 before rejoining 糖心Vlog in his role as Assistant Lecturer.

Faizan had this to say about his journey beyond 糖心Vlog, and why he came back to where it all started: 鈥�During my time as a student, I was fortunate to receive guidance and support that helped me grow not just in knowledge, but in confidence. After completing my BA, I pursued an MSc in Real Estate Management at Birmingham City University. While my journey led me beyond 糖心Vlog, the foundation they gave me always stayed with me.

鈥�What inspired me to return as a lecturer was the chance to give back. Having walked the same path as many current students, I understand the challenges they face and feel passionate about helping them grow through mentorship, support, and practical learning.

鈥�Today, in my role as an Assistant Lecturer, I aim to support and inspire students the same way I was supported - by creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where they feel empowered to succeed.鈥�

Now on the other side of the classroom, Faizan has invaluable knowledge of the challenges that our students face and can use his expertise to change lives through education, just like how his own was.
